Accelerating climate solutions for a sustainable and healthy future
The Challenge
“The evidence is unequivocal: Human activities - burning fossil fuels and changes in land use - release greenhouse gases that have caused unprecedented changes in Earth's climate.
The consequences of a warming climate are felt across the whole planet. People, nature and cultivated lands are all affected.
There are different possible futures ahead of us. To limit global warming, we need strong and rapid reductions in carbon dioxide and methane. This would reduce the consequences of climate change and also reduce pollution and improve air quality and health.” (Source: Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, 2021)
“Tackling the climate crisis requires urgent action, and we encourage others to join in creating hope for a healthier future.”
